Share Prices Gained on Tuesday 1.32%

MADRID - The Ibex-35 index of the core values of the Madrid Stock Exchange gained 138.30 points on Tuesday (+1,32%), to stand at 10 645 points at the end of the session lively upward again by banking securities.

On Monday he had gained 1.14% to 10506.70 points.

In the banking sector, all values closed green numbers, published four days after European solvency tests, overcome by all banks, while five savings banks, which unlisted, were unsuccessful.

The third Spanish bank, the People, posted the highest increase of the meeting (+7,68% to 5.18 euros), following the publication of its first half results, moving to other Spanish banks.

Other bank stocks also closed higher: the industry leader, Santander, which will publish its results on Wednesday, closed higher 1.96% to 10.42 euros, while the second, the BBVA for communication Tuesday, gained 4.76% to 10.57 euros.

Bankinter shot up 2.82% to 5.79 euros, Banco Sabadell gained 4.18% to 4.40 euros and Banesto rose 3.83% to 7.88 euros.

Among the energy stocks, the Argentine oil group Repsol YPF won Hispanic 0.54% to 18.46 euros, the first Endesa did it in 0.58% to 19.01 euros, but instead gave up 2.19% Natural Gas to 12.97 euros.

The telecommunications giant Telefonica closed higher 0.51% to 16.88 euros, while Iberia Airlines won 0.73% to 32.63 euros.
